"The staff made us feel very welcome. Breakfast in the courtyard set us up for a morning of walking and museum visits before a late but long lunch. The location is great - just around the corner in a quiet street from a lively square. Struck how quiet the room and general location. Relaxed but attentive, and very helpful with suggestions on where to walk off our jet lag from a long flight from Australia. Helped with any information on additional travel, sites, meals etc. We could easily walk to main sites but it’s an oasis in Athens touristic bustle. Pictures are accurate"

"We loved our stay at the beautiful Medley hotel! The surrounding street has some graffiti but the hotel itself was a lovely renovated 'traditional' home with only a handful of rooms, all unique and themed to different songs. We stayed in the Chariots of Fire room, which was well appointed with the beautiful original ceiling and modern updates for a comfortable stay. The garden was lovely, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom small but serviceable. The provided toiletries are hand soap, and a 2 in 1 body/hair soap gel which wasn't great but got the job done. The Medley provides ear plugs, which helps with street noise as the area is a busy and lively spot, with many restaurants and bars very close by. The noise on our Friday night stay stopped at about midnight. We got breakfast, which was were slightly confused as we thought it was meant to be delivered to the room, but it is actually served to you at your designated time in the breakfast room or garden. The breakfast itself was delicious, which you can order whatever you want ala carte from their menu. The staff was very friendly and helpful, taking our luggage when we arrived early which was taken up to our room for us once it was ready. They also arranged our private transfer at a reasonable cost (expect $50-$60 euro)to the Airport, which was perfectly on time. The Medley was easy walking distance to many restaurants, bars, shops, and the Acropolis (about 15-18 mins walk). We felt very safe walking around and enjoyed dinner with live music at a nearby restaurant. It is downtown in a very busy city with a lot going on, so don't expect everything nearby to be pristine and quiet."
