"The best part about hotel lido was leaving. We could only handle being there 1 night and then we booked another hotel. Didn’t even care about getting our money back because we just had to leave. Front desk didn’t even question it, probably because people check out earlier all the time. There was cockroaches, stains on the dirty uncomfortable bed, mould, couldn’t breath properly in the room, stuffy air, cigarette smoke, noise, worst sleep of our lives. And the area is so bad and unsafe. Taxi driver that dropped us off warned us about walking in the area late at night. We honestly felt unsafe even during the day. Area was so bad, smelly and disgusting. I’ve honestly lived in dirty hostels better than this hotel.\n\nIt was honestly so worth it to spend a bit more money and live at a better hotel to get proper rest after a day of sightseeing than to come back and be worried about cockroaches, bed bugs, breathing in mould and just not being able to sleep."

"Everything about this place was not good, it was very unprofessional, the customer service was bad they were not helpful and were rude they pushed us off to the side and did not answer our questions to the best of there knowledge. They also are scammers who show false photos of the hotel rooms and they looked nothing like that Whats so ever, the room was dirty, it had bugs, it was just disgusting so was the shower, it smelled like urine. The elevators were very old and rusty and were practically unsafe for anyone. The area it is in was bad it was trashed it was on the “bad street” in an alleyway and the only thing nice about this hotel was the lobby. People constantly smoked in the elevator causing my grandma to almost pass out."

"Very decent hotel if you are a solo traveller and want to save some bucks, don't expect to be a typical 3 star hotel. it is a way beyond it. Most important thing is it is very close to the historical landmark, just a 15 mins walk from Monastiraki station. And I didn't have to take any public transport while i was here."
