"After missing a flight I needed a simple overnight in Athens and this fit the bill.\n\nHotel : 2* hotel where people smoke - and you can smell it everywhere, so one star off for that\n\nRoom: totally reasonable for the price. Small room facing the inner courtyard. Last room left that night. Room decorated with mirrors to make it seem less cramped. Aircon worked well but I ended up going with an open window to help air out the cigarette smell\n\nService: I called from the airport, the English-speaking receptionist held the room for me. Reception open 24 hrs/day. Extremely friendly and helpful staff that night and next day.\n\nLocation: perfect for my needs. 10 min walk from Athens Central Station, Direct train to/from airport, a lot more comfortable than the metro. It is a slightly sketchy district where you just need to pay attention a nd have your wits about you."

The staff were welcoming and helpful, the location near Attiki Metro Station was perfect for exploring Athens, and major attractions were easily accessible. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with great soundproofing for a peaceful stay. Overall, superb service, a convenient location, and cozy accommodations made my stay very enjoyable. Highly recommended!"

"Not the most comfortable bed. Old building. Staff are very friendly and work hard to keep the place clean. Not really a nice area but 3-5 min walk to a metro stop for green and red lines. Food places to eat nearby. Pretty good bakery next to the metro stop Aitiki. Several bus stops nearby. No parking. 24 hour front desk. When looking for the right place at the right price within walking distance of a metro line and not extremely far from downtown... it was a decent balance. Maybe a little overpriced - but not bad. Depends what you are looking for. The naked lady paintings on the walls are a litttle odd but it's Europe. I believe all the rooms are smoking but it's minimal smell inside the room I stayed in. A/C works well."
