"This was a great hotel for the price we paid! We paid around 90 USD and stayed in room 302. The service was great easy check in and check out. We did have to pay a small fee (1.50 euros) this is normal for most hotels in Greece which USA folks are not used to. The room was great and clean! The breakfast was amazing!!!! Buffet style with mini omelettes, bread and spreads, ham and cheese, savory pastries, coffee and juices. Loved the mini omelettes, savory pastries and cappuccino coffee which was a bonus because didn’t have to go to an actual coffee shop! Only downside for this stay would be the traffic noise at night. Hubby slept through it but if ur a light sleeper I would request maybe a different inside room(not sure if they have this). Overall this stay was amazing and has been saved it as our favorites in Google to come back to when we are in Athens. Highly recommend staying here!"

"My wife and I have stayed at the Athens Hotel Iris twice. Once in 2022 and now in 2024 at the start of our honeymoon journey in Greece. I only have great things to say about this establishment. It has a family owned feel to it, both times the staff seemed to care about our stay. Clean rooms, air conditioned, breakfast is traditional. I definitely suggest this to anyone who is planning to stay in the Athens area either overnight or for a few days.\n\nThe first time we visited, we were close to many touristic views within walking or short cab ride distance which made it easy and fun to plan.\n\nThe second time we used the hotel as a night layover for a different flight. The taxis in Athens coincidentally had a strike the morning that we wanted to return to the airport (30minutes away drive from the hotel). The staff were very accommodating and provided us a shuttle service. The driver told us, “I will get you there no matter what”.\n\nExcellent choice and when we visit Athens again we will be back."

"This hotel is very close to Larissa Metro Station & Athens Centrail Railway station. Area sidewalks are very narrow but the walk is minimal. The hotel itself looks newer than the surrounding buildings. It is tastefully decorated inside and out and is also kept very clean. The elevator is very functional but small and has a push- door. The only down side I found during my stay was the wifi - it had good speed but kept dropping and requiring a reconnection.\n\nService is where this hotel really shines. It's reception was courteous and knowledgeable about Athens. They were always willing to assist and were very pleasant to deal with."
