"The worst hotel ever stayed in. The room was too little for 2 people. The bathroom was dirty. Ventilation was very good. Sheets were dirty and torn. There was a pretzel on the armchair, a bottle tap on the ceiling and a chewing-gum on the window pane. When we said it to the host, he didn’t say sorry nor resfunded us. Don’t go there"

"So a five star review but 1 star on rooms and location!\nThe circumstances in which we arrived at the hotel was not ideal as this was not the hotel we booked. This lovely hotel owner opened his doors to 3 vulnerable females - myself, my 2 young girls- at 330am. We were tired, just landed, walked the streets of Athens for 3 hours, harassed and hounded by a Moroccan and very drunk man and propositioned by men. Was awful!\nKamal (Hotel owner), got rid of the crazy drunk man, settled us in and gave us a room.\nThe area was not good for tourists as there were drug users on the street, but no-one approached us.\nGot a real "ghetto experience" of how deprived ppl live in different countries so I'm not knocking it completely!!\nThe hotel facilities were very poor and in need of desparate modernising. Cleanliness was basic. Maybe invest some money back into the hotel rooms just as a suggestion..\nAIR CON was perfect - again very old system but did the job.\nThis hotel was in essence a classic example of "if it aynt broke, don't fix it". Lol.\nBut I cannot fault the service here. The owner calmed us all down and pushed us to go out and enjoy Greece and not to let the events disturb our trip. He showed us where to go and where to eat. His wife was also a very nice lady.\nDefo recommend this hotel if your not fussy on mod cons and want to live basic. But because of the integrity, professionalism and kindness of Kamal, I'd rate this 5 star. Kamal all the best brother. Will never forget the kindness."

"I don’t usually give bad reviews but unfortunately there is nothing good to say about this place. Rooms were filthy, everything smelled like cigarettes, bathroom couldn’t be worse. Would not go back, even if for free. The owner should care more for his guests and business."
